Sweet Time at Kki, SOTA

I was so devastated when I found out that Kki, a yummy cafe selling cakes at Ann Siang Hill, has closed. However, the sadness did not last long because Kki has re-opened its business at new premise, School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA). It seems that Kki has adopted Muji-concept cafe judging from its decoration. Kki now is selling household wares and products too, other than the usual mousse cakes.

The place looks nice and cozy to have a little chat over cakes and coffee though. And the whole place looks bright probably due to the lighting and the color of the furniture, floor and wall.

Even though the house wares looks pretty nice, my main reason to come to Kki is of course, the Japanese-inspired French handcrafted mousse cakes. The lovely pink mousse cake is called Nao. It is a strawberry mousse cake with pistachio centre.

Hello from the other cake, it is called Fromage Melon. It is a cheesecake with rock melon centre.

Both cakes taste light just like those Japanese style cakes. We also ordered a glass of iced milk tea and the taste, oh wow...it really reminds me of those Taiwanese milk tea which I often drank in Taipei.

Right beside Kki, there is an art and design retail store selling cute stuff called The Little Drom Store. It sells pretty creative goods and knick knack which I personally think can only be found in Singapore.

Why did I say so? Well, I don't think you can find plates with the words from Singlish vocabulary. The Little Drom Store also sells cards, stamps, keychains with cute mascot from the land of Singapore which you will not be able to find anywhere else.

Kki is located at level 2 of SOTA. If you want to visit Kki, don't come too late because I don't think the cafe opens until late at night.
