Free the Robot, Singapore

If you are looking for a quaint little cafe near CBD where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch with a lunch buddy or probably yourself, you can go try Free the Robot. It is one of the newest additions in Telok Ayer street. Fancy a lunch with a robot?

Free the Robot, Singapore

Free the Robot served mostly brunch items and toasties. It also has salad but I have never tasted it before. For the drinks, they serve coffee and juices.

Oh there you are, cute little robots. By the way, do you know that the Singapore government seems to be investing a lot in robotic and automation programme lately? I wonder if one day we will be replaced by robots. Oh gosh, another Terminator story in real life?

While waiting for the order, I noticed that the wall mural is pretty interesting.

Here come our order. Mine is the meatball rice. The plating of the meatball rice is very pretty and instagram worthy. Taste wise, I quite enjoy this dish. The portion is just nice for an office lady.

My lunch buddy ordered avocado and feta cheese toasties. This toastie taste so good. Never thought the combination of avocado and feta cheese mix well together.

Free the Robot is currently offering special menu, Jumbo Prawn pasta for $13. It does look pretty good on its Facebook page. Do give it a try when you are there.

Do note that Free the Robot closes on Sunday.
