13D12N Australia Trip: Dovetail, World Square

The problem that we found during our trip to Sydney is...we don't know what to do when the clock reached 7PM because most of the stores start closing up at this timing (okay, some even close earlier at 5 or 6 PM). This is the time when we usually end up wandering around before the sun really sets for the day. We saw what seems to be the Broadway of Sydney in our wandering near Haymarket.

A few blocks away, we managed to find a big shopping mall named World Square. Some of the shops and the supermarket (I think it's called Coles) opens until 9-ish so we usually ends up doing our grocery every night. By grocery, I mean chocolate-shopping.

When we explored World Square, we were really surprised to find a cafe which still opens around 9PM. Dovetail in World Square has a selection of cronuts and cakes to satisfy your sweet cravings at night time in Sydney.

The cake selection is pretty wide from carrot cake to the classic blackforest and cheesecake.

We ended up sharing a slice of chocolate cheesecake before going back to our accommodation in Surry Hills.

If you have nowhere else to go, you may want to stroll along World Square as there are still many people around at this area until late.
