13D12N Australia Trip: Friday Foodie Market, Circular Quay

Besides the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House, there are so many things to see in Circular Quay in Sydney. If your starting point is Sydney Opera House, you may want to look toward the east of the Opera House where the Royal Botanic Gardens. If you are willing to venture deeper into the garden, you can see Mrs Macquarie's Point, which provides excellent views west across the harbour to the Bridge.

Walking back to the direction of the ferry terminal, we saw a stretch of shops and cafes along the way. We saw plush toys in the form of Alpaca, which is a domesticated small camel. They look so cute. If you'd like to see the real alpaca, you can visit the zoo or Tasmania Island.

On the way to the Harbour Bridge, we passed by a public park where the locals can be seen chilling and strolling around on a Friday afternoon.

If you come to Circular Quay on a Friday, you must stop by at the Friday Foodie Market near Harbour Bridge. Make sure to come before 3PM though.

The foodie market is filled with the curious crowd. You can see how the chef is preparing for the food in front of you. They are really very interesting to watch.

This particular stall intrigued me as they are selling something named Biltong. Biltong is basically a beef skewers, something looks like a big satay, if you ask me. They taste pretty good but I have no idea if Biltong is a regular food stall at the Friday Foodie Market.

Do give the market a visit if you happen to be around here on Friday.
