Singapore Eats: Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut, Lucky Plaza

I can't believe how much I miss Indonesian food after I've travelled for a few days only. Thankfully it is not difficult to find Indonesian food in Singapore. One just simply need to go to Lucky Plaza to find one. Instead of the usual Ayam Penyet at Ayam Penyet Ria, my dinner buddy and I decided to go for the next door restaurant, Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut. This is where to go if you want to get crispy duck (bebek goreng) instead of smashed chicken (ayam penyet). While waiting for the duck to be served, let me slurp on my fanciful pink drink called Happy Soda (Soda Gembira).

Appearance wise, Bebek Goreng looks pretty similar to Ayam Penyet. It is also served with tempe, tahu (tofu) and a very spicy chili at the side. You will need the sweet black sauce to mix with the chili if you are not a spicy lover. It tastes the best when eaten with rice so yeah, no diet is allowed in this restaurant.

The restaurant is not yet packed around 5PM-ish on Saturday so if you want to enjoy your meal without fighting for space, do come early.
