Singapore Eats: Tom's Palette, Shaw Towers

Don't you wish everyday is a Saturday? There is this magic about Saturday, you can feel relaxed as much as you want to and yet, you can also feel productive if you want to do some work on Saturday. I am not really a supporter of working on Saturday but I do most of my blog write-ups on Saturday because oh well, I am happy enough to be able to sleep before midnight on a weekday. But the one thing that I enjoy the most of Saturday is my meet up with bae to chat about what has happened over the week in our daily life. Our chat usually happens in a restaurant, cafe or ice cream parlour. This time, we chose to come over to Tom's Palette to try their funky ice cream.

Tom's Palette allow customers to try the ice cream for FREE. This is to make sure that you don't order something which looks exciting but then ending up eating the ice cream in disappointment. Hahaha. If you are hungry, you can choose to have your ice cream with waffle or brownie waffle.

There are some wacky flavours that you will only find at Tom's Palette like seaweed (the one at the far right) and Kampong Kuah (which I think is a traditional type of cake). Seems like coffee is a favourite flavor to choose here but I don't really like coffee flavoured ice cream.

Since bae and I are going to share the calories, we chose the medium size of 2 flavours which cost SGD 4.60. After a few free tasting, we have come to our final decision *drum rolls*, honey and cinnamon and blueberry cheesecake. I love both flavours and will definitely coming back to Tom's Palette to try other flavours and the waffles as well.
